![]() ![]() I don't have any problem with XP at all, ever. I use XP/SP3/32bit OS/IE6 (yes, I know:-) Hi gavinque, I appreciate you taking the time to investigate this for the PC. I'm sorry I don't have a personally tested solution for you. BTW whats OS version are you using, XP, Vista, Win7? If you do have something like that remove it or disable it (even maybe update it) and see if you still have this problem. I don't know for sure I'm just speculating. One question though, do you have any software that prevents Flash from 'auto-playing' on websites you visit? I just wonder if software add-ons to browsers could be causing this issue (on any platform). Thats odd as I thought it required 10.1 or higher to play the videos.Įidnolb I'm not sure about Windows exhibiting the same problem and that I can't reproduce it on XP. Well I fired up my a virtual machine and tried it on an XP installation I have with Flash 10.0.22.87 and IE. It's crazy that Adobe's own site would have problems like this with their own software, I'm not going to comment further on that as I don't think I'll be able to stop my rant. During my searching I didn't see that many Windows users complaining about this problem (I did see a few). Trying to watch this silly Adobe TV cost me about 45mins of researching, testing, reinstalling and it better damn well be worth it I was at my wits end with the Adobe TV thing telling me I had to have Flash 10.1 or higher when I just installed 10.2.159.1 (or w/e the hell the number is now). The iOS user agent was like the second one I tried just to be cheeky. Now reload the Adobe TV page your trying to watch, it should start playing.ĭONT ASK ME WHY, BUT IT WORKS. ![]() In the " Develop" menu go to " User Agent" and select (ironically enough) " Safari iOS 3.2.2 – iPad". Close Preferences and now you should have a " Develop" Menu in your Safari menu bar.Ģ. Go to (in Safari) Preferences> Advanced> turn on bottom check box called " Show Develop menu in menu bar". Make sure that the menu called " Develop" is activated in Safari. If you in the same boat then this solution may work for you (it may work for other configs as well, I didn't do further testing).ġ. I'm using 10.6.7 with all patches including Safari 5.0.5. I'm having the same problem your having with Safari and Adobe TV, and I think I've found a solution. ![]()
